Remember the armful of watches and bracelets in this post? It seems that I can't get enough of jeweled layers. This stack of sentimental rings puts a number of my cocktail versions to shame. The top one is an orange sapphire given to me by my parents on my 25th birthday. The opal and diamond quatrefoil was the first piece of "real" jewelry I purchased for myself. And the third ring is a vintage star sapphire that belonged to my mother. Isn't reviving old favorites satisfying?
