I'll See Your Bet





A couple of weeks ago, my New Friend Dave and I set out on a day trip with bags of candy, fully charged iPhones (with the Roadside America app) and early '90s music. We found ourselves in Dubuque, Iowa, home of ... well ... not much. There was a Gas Station Jesus, the Fenelon Place Elevator and the Diamond Joe Casino. An hour later, I lost $3 at the penny slots. He won $5.

I'm sure Lady Luck would have been on my side if I wore one of these casino-inspired charms:
