The French label Balmain quickly found a successor to Christophe Decarnin. This is the French designer Olivier Rousteing said in a statement that the mark, Olivier will be responsible for overseeing the creation and development of male and female line of prêt-à-porter.
Rousteing grew up in Bordeaux and studied at the College of Arts and Fashion Técicas in 2003. Prior to working at Balmain where he worked with Roberto Cavalli collection was a designer forprêt-à-porter collection for men and women.
Balmain makers have clarified that Olivier will not grant any interview until the parade of spring-summer collection 2012, where he debuted as a designer.
