David Beckham to launch owns brand of men's underwear “Homme”



David Beckham is planning to launch a lingerie line and a fragrance of this year. The soccer star 36-year-old, who has been the face of Emporio Armani underwear with his wife Victoria in recent seasons, has decided to enter the industry after learning how big the market is Bodywear.



David confirmed to World Water Day has been busy working with a team of design clothing line. Will also unveil their new perfume, Homme by David Beckham, this September. He has teamed with Simon Fuller, creator of "American Idol" for their new businesses. 

After becoming the face and body of Armani underwear for four seasons, David realized that there is a great demand for men Bodywear well done, and can enter the same business. 




He told WWD, "I had the idea to make a collection for some time Bodywear. The pressure to do something of my own reality was the result of my collaboration with Armani. I was told that its gross turnover in 2007 was 16 million [22.7 million U.S. dollars at current exchange rates] and after the campaign in 2008 rose to 31 million [$ 43,900,000] in 2008. “

And while creating a fashion brand is Victoria Field, David said he is thinking of new business projects to support, even after their football days are gone. 
He told the website, "It is not my natural inclination to see myself as a brand, and I’m just a person who has been fortunate to explore other interests and passions outside of the game I love. I will always be associated with the sport, but I'm working on other areas that will continue long after my career is over. "
