Look, I hate horn toots just as much as the next guy (lie), but when placed in a room at Barney's with a table full of exotic shoes, camera man, and Simon Doonan clad in copious layers of Liberty of London, sharing wildly interesting facts about anything from Jil Sander's familial lineage to "the way New York once was," it's just the kind of shit you have to share with people.
