Mark Badgley and James Mischka have been hailed by Vogue as one of the "Top 10 American Designers" and as the darlings of the Hollywood set and now, for the first time in Australia, the Badgley Mischka Bride collection will be available at Basilica from December 2008. "Our style harks back to the glamorous Hollywood of the forties", says Mischka, which explains how their often sexy silhouettes have a vintage feel. This has made Badgley Mischka gowns perfect for weddings and Oscar Night, where they have been worn by celebrities like Madonna, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Garner, Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet and Sarah Jessica Parker, of whom one of her "Sex And The City" character's Badgley Mischka dresses has been translated into their "Carrie" bridal gown.
