Rachel Comey embraced her usual kook with sweet and funky flat shoes, also celebrating an interesting new take on the cable knit--seen far right--because, really, who says the pattern is only suitable for cold weather, right? To the far left you can catch a glimpse of the first of several pant-under-dress or skirt situations I've seen thus far. It started trickling around over resort but seems the trend is here full force. Also, though not pictured here, it should be noted there were some really rad beachy prints that looked like little ocean waves flowing down your blouse. Here's to that.
More prints worked as deflators at Richard Chai Love. I was particularly into the skimpy biker short-under-peplum-blouse look he showed that popped up several times through the course of the show. There were some darling little pops of orange too. And I love oranges. They make orange juice. Hawaiian prints ruled and smurf blue lips so eloquently suggested continued celibacy,
Speaking of oranges...get a load o'this from Sachin + Babi. Cute floral details but more importantly, so much good layering potential here. This is the foundation of an ideal blog post. Finally though, we look to the polished pages of Jenni Kayne's presentation.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know these aren't "polished pages" but the alliteration just sounded so good. Work with me. Turn your grammar police badge away, would ya? Thanks. This also serves to correct a serious wrong: navy and black, so rad together.
Just before I send you off, here's a tiny glimpse from last night's God Save My Shoes film premiere at The Paris Theater sponsored by The Outnet, below photographed with The Outnet's very own superstar: a cute and pregnant Stephanie Phair.
See, told ya, satin shoes and as my hair will aptly suggest, it was in fact pouring. Irene had nothing on last night's storm.
Until tomorrow...but I'll see you tonight, right?
