Yesterday morning I had a lovely surprise, two blog awards from two fantastic bloggers! So a big thank you to Gaia of Alices Adventures in Wonderland and Bella of Our English (ish) wedding in Italy!

So I'm supposed to tell you 7 things and then 10 things about myself but I think since I got both awards on the same day, I can't bore you with all that info! So I'm just going to tell you 7 things...

1. One of my favourite things to do is make cupcakes and ice them prettily.
2. I love cats, I fear I may turn into a crazy cat lady one day!
3. I dream of having monthly subscriptions to all my favourite overseas magazines.
4. I love picking herbs from my garden.
5. I studied fashion design after school, although sometimes you'd never think it!
6. I find myself collecting old lace and ribbons.
7. I'm desperate to travel overseas again ASAP!

Yay, how exciting, yesterday I received a blog award from the fabulous Being Brazen, thank you!! So in acceptance I need to tell you 10 things about myself and pass this award on to 10 other lovely bloggers. So here goes...

1. I don't like wearing high heels, they make me feel too tall.
2. I love storyboards/ pinboards, I think they're an absolute necessity.
3. I don't like fruit, in fact you could say I have a bit of a fruit phobia!
4. I love religious icons, I've even taken a course and painted one, which took absolute ages!
5. I once worked for Harrods in their warehouse packing Christmas orders, lol!
6. When I was small I got run over by a herd of sheep on my grandparent's farm!
7. My latest fave movie is Vicky Christina Barcelona, I can't wait to watch it again and try and understand the Spanish bits.
8. Yes, I'm learning Spanish (slowly!) for future travels
9. I have a small strawberry tattoo. 
10. I'll eat Salmon roses any day! And Lindt dark chocolate!

7) Making cupcakes
8) The feeling after having gone for a long walk
9) Finding an actual letter or postcard in my postbox (not a bill!)
