Have you heard about Bonbon kakku? It's a brilliant concept, an online shop where you can submit your own fabric designs, which are then voted on by the readers and if popular, then made into actual fabric and sold at Bonbon kakku! So clever...

Feminine charm
Carolyn Quartermaine's fabric designs really appeal to me, I love the femininity and simplicity of them. I love her use of bright splashes of pinks and blues together with gold and then teamed with fresh white, so stunning. She is a successful artist, stylist and designer too, definitely something to aspire towards!
Vogue Living Australia did a gorgeous feature on Carolyn last year, the next four photos are all from their shoot. I am totally in love with her handprinted rainbow toile du jouy fabric on the Louis XV chair!
Tea time
I spotted this summery string of tea towels over at lobster and swan...

And so I thought I'd do a mini tea towel feature, especially since I finally managed to buy one from Heather of Skinny laMinx. Yes, I am loving my new bird inspired kitchen accessory!
These other gorgeous tea towels are all by New House Textiles, a family run business in Herefordshire, England, who have just created a homewares collection based on 1950's Swedish design.
So take a look at New House Textiles as well as Skinny laMinx's etsy shop.
