Tanning is good for the brain!

We all heard about the dangers of prolonged exposure to sun and unprotected. Yes but now a new study in the UK could provide some data flat. Indeed, according to a team of researchers from Manchester (home yet not known for this level of sun), sun exposure,

i.e. sunbathing would result in benefits for the brain (besides of course the non appearance negligible brightness or heat factor ...)

Prolonged exposure to sunlight would increase the rate of vitamin D, which would then reduce the aging of the brain and thus keep them longer at the top his intellectual faculties.

Researchers under the supervision of Professor David Lee based this conclusion on a study of 3300 men aged 40-79 years living in various nations of the old continent. They followed a program of sun exposure to different doses. Balance for both men the same age?

Faculties related to memory, reflection and quick problem resolution has been rising and higher for sunbathers. Now scientists are trying to establish more precise yet the link between brain function, neurons and the levels of vitamin D. To be continued. Then this summer, tan or not
