Menswear Fall 2011 Milan Fashion Week-Etro

The designer Kean Etro is working behind the backstage in Milan

Kean Etro summarizes his men's collection as an ode to the cow.  The cow has always been in his life, he says, from morning milk to a shoe that leads to the steaks he eats.  It even describes the white spots growing on the black beard with age, making him look like a cow as it ages.

"Now I realize why cows are considered sacred in places like India," he says, "This is the cow in a physical way," he says of his collection consists of brown leather, layers seen in black and white shoes and leather.  Similar to their recent collections that are based on certain animals.

It is based on a collection passed in the owl, for example.  Male models with brown hats and bow ties take on the role of men in the Alps, Himalayas, or Austria, where you can find many cows.  Etro play up the strong places of cow, or in places that he believes milk and wool or cotton production.  These two fabrics are also widely used in the collection.  Pants are sewn with care and pieces are heavily embroidered.
