Bag Lady
Spencer & Rutherford, one of Australia’s leading luxury handbag and accessories labels, recently celebrated its 1oth anniversary with a lavish celebration held in St Kilda. I was lucky enough to be invited but was unable to attend due to shooting all our wonderful stories for issue 11 of Style Guide, on sale 24 June. The magical evening, with stunning millinery from Richard Nylon, fashion by Anthea Crawford, enchanting music from Wildflowers and a mystical fortune teller on hand to predict the future of fashion enthralled guests. The exciting new collection, The Game of Love, was dramatically unveiled and showcased throughout the evening. The highlight, however, was the incredible retrospective display, showcasing select elegant, divine and feminine bags from the last 10 years of Spencer & Rutherford. A big Happy 10th Birthday to the lovely team at Spencer & Rutherford!

In Love with Sugarlove

Last week Annabelle and I made the trip to Sydney for the official launch of the simply gorgeous Sugarlove studio in Woollahra. Leigh and Bradley were the perfect hosts, providing simply delicious food from Katering and champagne trom Tattinger. They have done quite simply a marvelous job of their new studio. Of course pictures of Sugarlove weddings adorn the walls giving it a warm and homely feel, something you notice as soon as you enter the studio. Every bit of detail has been carefully crafted by Leigh, making it the perfect place to sit down and discuss your wedding day photography. Here's a peek at the studio and some of the guests who attended. To learn more about Sugarlove's fabulous work visit www.sugarloveweddings.com or www.sugarlovepictures.com.

We love that Leigh has kept the amber crystal door handle on the main door, one of the buildings original features

Tonia Todman Roses and Blumin are thrilled to announce the launch of their new range, Tonia Todman Roses & Herbs styled by Blumin. A high-tea garden-party, hosted by Tonia and Blumin, was held in the gorgeous Kyneton, Victoria, to celebrate this selection of English garden roses and herbs. Tonia Todman Roses provides a wide range of pesticide free garden roses including many English David Austin roses, Australian roses and French varieties from Delbard and Guillot. Many are traditional and some so old their origins go back centuries to Europe and China. Blumin is passionate about the introduction of authentic locally grown, fresh and fragrant flowers & herbs. Their product is sourced from Blumin’s garden and other local gardens in the neighbouring Macedon Ranges & Spa Country Region. Sandy, the owner of Blumin, under the guidance of renowned florist Helen Lindsay and linked with Tonia Todman, ensures that Blumin offers flower and herb bouquets which have limited pesticide exposure ensuring the end product is truly aromatic and fresh. Just A Taste...

Tonight (being the true Style Guide girls that we are) Annabelle and I dolled ourselves up and headed to the Bulgari Champagne cocktail party to celebrate all the finest elements of hosting the perfect wedding. Bulgari has long been a much loved member of the Style Guide team so Annabelle and I were thrilled to travel to Melbourne to help them celebrate this fabulous and glamorous event at their Grand Hyatt store. Together with suppliers Karen Willis Holmes, Oglia-Loro and Jane Hill we listened as Melbourne's finest wedding suppliers gave their hottest tips to the crowd of eager brides. Keep posted tomorrow as we'll give you a taste of the night with fabulous pictures!
