Nice style web: White

It seems I'm quite taken with white at the moment, I think it's the simplicity of it and the fact that it's so versatile, it's almost like starting with a blank slate, you can go anywhere from there...

And of course what would a wedding gown be without white? The gorgeous dresses featured in this post are all by Amanda Wakeley, amazing designs and beautifully styled too.

And of course stylist, Atlanta Bartlett is well known for her book, At home with white, a beautiful ode to white interiors, full of inspiration...

I love this living room below with it's wooden ceiling beams, pebble mat and relaxed banquette style seating...

Textures and details are definite musts to liven up plain whites...

It's another beautiful day here in Cape Town, the sun is shining and it's the start of a long weekend, what could be better?! Today I'm feeling inspired by fresh, clean, white spaces and the need to de-clutter and simplify things. How are you feeling today? In the mood for serenity or in need of some vibrant colour and zest?

I've got a busy weekend lined up, I'm going to the South African Food Bloggers Conference this Sunday, how exciting, I'm looking forward to learning some food styling tips, getting inspiration and meeting some fantastic bloggers in real life! I'm also hoping to get to the beach, I'll be taking my new woven bag with me, for those of you living in Cape Town, I got it from Loft Living for just R45, what a bargain! Plus I'm going to see The Parlotones perform at Kirstenbosch Gardens, can't wait! So those are my plans, what are you all up to?
