I adore this home which I spotted on Marie Claire Maison, it's the home of Emily Chalmers who owns the stunning shop, Caravan, in London, not surprising!

Creative styling...
I discovered Spool No. 72 thanks to dilly dallas and it's just the most gorgeous online store, beautiful clothing and accessories and amazing styling, it's love at first sight...
And the next few photos are all by Sharon Cairns, I just thought they fitted so well with Spool No. 72's styling...
A touch of frost
Today I'm sharing some more Christmas images with you, because next week I'll be posting about something else entirely different! You'll have to wait and see...
These gorgeous shots are all styled by Eva Lindh and for me, they are so typical of a Winter's Christmas, which is not at all what we experience here. Christmas here is hot and sunny and we often opt for cold meats and salads as opposed to a traditional hot dinner. But I love these images, with logs piled high, mittens and boots on hand and traditional reds and greens, it makes me long for a White Christmas...

Perfectly old
I love these shots, styled by Glen Proebstel. These old walls with layers of peeling paint make the perfect backdrop, just lovely...

Classic organic
Today I'm feeling inspired by the photography of Jonn Coolidge and of course the homes that he get's to photograph. These interiors are all quite classic and elegant but with an earthy, organic feel. Mostly neutrals and whites but with plants and greenery to lift it. They all have a lovely calm feel to them...

Fresh start
Morning to you all! Hope you had a lovely weekend and are ready for the week ahead. I had a lovely relaxing weekend and today I thought I'd share some pretty, fresh pics to get the week off to a good start! I found plenty of inspiration over at A creative mint and fell in love with Leslie's lilac and green inspired story. Her compositions are gorgeous as always and so stunning! I found a few other pics to match, enjoy...

White slate
It seems I'm quite taken with white at the moment, I think it's the simplicity of it and the fact that it's so versatile, it's almost like starting with a blank slate, you can go anywhere from there...
And of course what would a wedding gown be without white? The gorgeous dresses featured in this post are all by Amanda Wakeley, amazing designs and beautifully styled too.
And of course stylist, Atlanta Bartlett is well known for her book, At home with white, a beautiful ode to white interiors, full of inspiration...
I love this living room below with it's wooden ceiling beams, pebble mat and relaxed banquette style seating...
Textures and details are definite musts to liven up plain whites...
And doesn't this bedroom look so inviting and cosy? Clean and simple...
And lastly some adorable white ornaments, love this photo so just had to add it! Hope you all have a great Tuesday! It's another lovely day here in Cape Town, Summer is finally here!

Fresh white
I absolutely love this apartment, everything about it, the fresh white walls and simple furniture, the wooden floorboards, the interesting little decor pieces and of course the sunlight streaming in through the lovely big windows. It's looks so light and airy and calm, I'd move in any day, don't you agree?

Handmade beauty
I can't believe it's Monday already, the weekend flew by so quickly. Luckily I have the day off today as well, so I get to catch up on all the little things that have been waiting to get done. Lucky me!Hope you are all feeling rested and ready for the week ahead.
I recently discovered Niki Jones, who has put together the most amazing collection of beautiful handmade items. From furniture pieces with bone inlay, amazing traditional mirrors, stunning handmade quilts and cushions to beautiful rugs and accessories. Every piece is absolutely amazing and on my wish list! I'm sure you'll agree...

Dressing up
So did you have a good weekend? Are you feeling ready for the week ahead? I had a lovely day on friday, photos to follow soon and the rest of my weekend was great too. I've been coming across so many gorgeous dressing room pics recently that I thought I'd put them all together. Dreaming of one day having a separate dressing room or walk in cupboard, what luxury!
Would love to own this many gorgeous shoes too!
Love this dressing room on the right with it's own little sofa and fireplace! Imagine what the rest of the house must look like?!
Love how all these shoes are displayed in this vintage display cabinet, and then some pretty blue wallpaper to spruce up an old cupboard...
So neat and tidy! My cupboard is far from this!
Oh if only I had a dressing room like this... are any of you lucky enough to have something like this?!

A touch of black and white
Hope you all had a lovely weekend, I had a very relaxing time which was just what I needed. Today I thought I'd start the week off with some dramatic black and white inspiration. I myself love colour but there is something about black and white that is quite appealing... the combination is so versatile, it can be very gamorous and old world or modern and chic, the choice is yours...
How stunning is this little black sofa? I would love to have that in my bedroom!!
A pretty dayroom and a stunning, nostalgic photo by the talented Jamie of From Me To You...
Absolutely love this giant painted wall blackboard, it is brilliant!
This second photo really appeals to me, stunning glossy white floors and rustic archway, it looks like it belongs to an amazing holiday house set on an idyllic island! Don't you think?
And lastly some lovey bold geometric patterns...
