Marni Pre-Fall 2011 via Style.com
If ever there were a brand that exemplified model man repelling in its' utmost glory, it would be Marni. If I hadn't known better, I'd have assumed Designer Consuelo Castiglioni fell in love with a man that used her for sex and as retaliation, she developed a line of clothing that would act as...well...man repellent.

Unfortunately though, she is married. Her husband does however run a fur business which begs the question: does he watch Rupaul's The Drag Race? I strive to find a man like him.
Marni Pre-Fall 2011
In any case, it should be noted that in the eight years Marni has been around, her collections have celebrated an intentional stray from overtly sexy garments to colorful, shapeless, and sometimes downright offensive-to-man-wood silhouettes. It may perhaps be slightly ambitious to state that she and I preach the same verses but then again...you can't spell Marni without M and R.
You must be wondering how this has anything to do with Repelling on a Budget. Well...try not to wet yourself (or do, it's more funny that way) as I announce this, but:
Marni clothing is running at a whopping 65% off on The Outnet today!
Hooray! Guilt-free RTW to satiate my sex-drive!
Because
I'm talking $415 play-suits at $124.
There will be no playing in this here suit. I call it: the solution to Agent Provacateur's takeover. Talk about alternative lingerie.
...and open-toe knee high boots! In green!
Oxymoronic and counter-functional in all their glory, who could say no to the shoe that will never provide a wear and tear ending.
Looky, looky. Peeky, peeky and keep refreshing that browser of yours. Sartorial freedom is but a few clicks away...make sure to come back here for a look at my picks from the collection later today! Hooray!
Now to return to the most valuable saying of 2010 and now '11, who needs companionship when you can have Ready-to-Wear?
