Design Indaba

 So on Sunday morning I decide to escape the intense heat here in Cape Town and head down to the Design Indaba. Inside a beautifully air conditioned hall, I leisurely took my time and absorbed some design inspiration. I noticed a lot of hand crafting, organic elements and recycling/re-using of old objects for new purposes.

Here are a few of my favourites from the day... beautiful jewellery by Collect Fine Jewellery, molo mimi's crafty plant holders and fabric collages, amazing felt plant holders by Ronél Jordaan, gorgeous textured lighting by moonbasket, Pedersen + Lennard's clever bucket stools, more clever seating by REcreate, amazing local fabrics by Threadcount and lovely handmade bags by Wren.
