Anna Dello's Jil Sander peplum is a really important way to start any day. Especially when it rains. Because when it rains, it pours. And when it pours, I get dramatic and say things like "I want to kill the sky," and then when I see this photo, I remember that if I were to kill the sky, the world would cease to exist and in that situation, the prospect of owning my own peplum would no longer be a prospect. Chew on that.
Monday blues turn green with muppets when monochrome shots surface.
Tell me about it, stud.
Balenciaga shoes are like mullets, you see. Business on the top...party on the back!
And on the pages of Jak & Jil...could this be considered ombre? Or just a really devoted lesson in tie dying?
While yes, prints rock, so do fake pockets imprinted onto jeans. See what I did just now? Prints, prints, printz.
Here is Taylor Tomasi Hill's arm looking fly as ever. Note that pun or die. If her photographs have taught me anything, it is that party-clad-arms are the key to Tommy Ton success. Agree or disagree?
And finally, Yves Saint Laurent's hit shoe of summer. Sure yes, you can buy this shoe but why not just buy one that is actually three sizes bigger for the same effect. Seems craftier.
In a similar vein, you can also just jump on the Margiela boat and get these. Is it a boot? Is it a sandal? Is it the Bronx Zoo's Cobra? The world may never know. (photographed by Naomi)
AND OMFG: In case you're wondering what I did last night and what I wore while doing what I did, the answer is below.
blazer and booties: Rag & Bone, tee: Kain, skirt: L'Agence
I was at Ilori on Spring St for the L'Agence x Sama Eyewear launch party wearing a cool suede fringe mini skirt that dangles when I walk. Pocahontas chic, or what? ...Here's the even better part though.
Mickey Rourke under the same roof.
